My Story
Hi my name is Lynette Smith and my Scentsy story is I did not choose Scentsy, Scentsy chose me. I have tried a few direct selling businesses in the past and I was not looking to start another direct selling business until I was introduced to Scentsy by a friend. My family and I have been trying to make our house smell pleasant for a long time. I have 5 cats and I could not use candles so I was in several stores each week trying and buying different products to scent the house to which none of them worked and I was spending lots of money on those products. One day I received an email with a link to a site to buy scentsy from my friend’s book party. Well, when I logged onto the site I was overwhelmed at how many scents there were but the product was very pretty. I was a little skeptical on how this product would work well since all of the others I've tried did not. However, I gave all the other products a try why not this one and I wanted to see if this one would work. I made arrangements to stop by her house to see the product in person and to smell all of the 80 different scents and was glad I did....I fell in love with the product right away and I could not wait to get it home. When my order arrived it set it up and turned it on and right away everyone in the house loved it, we could smell it all over the house with just one warmer. I was hooked right there and when your husband loves it you know you have a winner. I was a little hesitant on selling scentsy only because I was in another party plan and was wondering if I could let it go. But after entering my house several times and it ALWAYS smelled fresh I knew I was hooked. When I had visitors stop over they wanted to know what candle I had going and when I showed them Scentsy and that it was a Wickless Candle warmer with no flame they loved the idea and product and wanted to know where to get one. I knew I had to sign up so they could get it from me. I signed up right away and have been introducing Scentsy to everyone I come in contact with. I love the company, the products and my Scentsy family. I have been able to make a lot of extra money with my business and I am working on accomplishing all of my goals with Scentsy. Hosting a home party is very simple and a lot of fun! All you have to do is invite the guests and I do all the work! Or maybe you're on the go and just don't have time for a party!
